A large shower of stones fell after a huge fireball lighted up thousands of square miles of Northern Mexico, reported, Met. Bull. 45, Meteoritics, 1970, 5, p.101. More than 2000kg were probably collected. One individual weighed 100-110kg but had fragmented on impact.
